About Hollea
Hollea is a 26 year old mother who has had two children of her own. The birth of her first child and ending up in a cesarean delivery was what sent her into the world of birthing. She knew there had to be more options out there than the care she received. She is very passionate about all things birthing and really believes in women having their best birth. She believes birth is a natural, normal and instinctual experience and every birth is unique. Her goal is to help every woman and their families experience their best birth they way the see it. She has attended 5 births thus far and really likes working with VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) families.
Education
Received her breastfeeding peer counselor training by attending La Leche League International (LLLI) Peer Counselor Training.Received her peri-doula training through Perinatal ReSource.
Received contraceptive counseling through Perinatal ReSource.
Received childbirth education training through Perinatal ReSource.
Currently working towards her doula certification through DONA.
Preparing to take Placenta Encapsulation Training.
